This site aims to supply detailed, objective information on the UK car insurance market - the sort of information that we think is pretty difficult to find out there on the internet.
We are here primarily to inform, not to sell. If you want to click through to an insurance provider and buy a policy having read our content that's fine. You can do so by clicking the links button on the left. And if you do so we make no bones about the fact that we will make a bit of money from the insurance company who you click through to. But that's not what we are really about. We're here to provide information. And there are one or two other things that make us a bit different.
If you put 'car insurance', 'motor insurance', 'auto insurance' or something similar into your search engine you will tend to get one of two things. Either you get a site that is owned by a single insurance company (though often it's not clear that this is the case). Alternatively you get directory type sites which take you straight to a price comparison between different insurance providers. Which, of course, is fine if you know exactly what you are looking for. But if you don't, or you want facts rather than a sales pitch then perhaps these sites aren't ideal.
WE ARE NOT TIED TO ANYONE AND WE DON'T SELL INSURANCE. What we say here is completely independent. We want you to find the policy that best suits your needs having had the benefit of some thorough, objective factual information. We're not convinced that too many other people can say that. In fact we would go so far as to say that quite a few sites out there are designed to get you to part with your money as swiftly as possible without anyone really caring whether you get a product that suits you or not. So if it's a low key information gathering you want, not a hard sell, stay with us.
